Now Introducing...

Cole Maddox Thaler was born at 7:31 am on Friday, March 28th. He was 20 inches long and weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces, both measurements slightly bigger than Camden's. We forgot how little the stork brings the packages! He is doing well and Mama found this delivery and recovery to be much easier.

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Williams, Aunt Amanda, and Uncle Kirky for helping Mama deliver Cole. Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Thaler, Aunt Susie and Uncle Danny, Great-Grandma Paesens, Uncle Kap, Uncle Deany, and Nicole for coming to visit us in the hospital. Can't wait to meet everyone else!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Still no baby brother yet for me...Mama is having small contractions every hour to an hour and a half but they're not progressing at all. She was going to try to go to school this week but decided against it. She's pretty tired and wants to get some rest before the "real work" begins!

I'm going to be such a good helper when Cole comes. I practice taking care of my baby so that I can help Mama and Daddy.

And the Easter Bunny came to our house in the morning! I had a good time looking for eggs...my big sister, Nellie, helped me find them! She's got a good nose to sniff them out.

Update on Cole

Mama went for her weekly check-up on Tuesday and she's dilated 2 cm already. When she was dilated this much for me she was ready for the epidural! She's not having any regular contractions and hopes to get through Thursday at school. She's a little sore but other than that is doing well. Maybe I'll be a big sister this weekend!

Sitting still to read a book, one of my favorite things to do.

Here's a picture of Mama and her big 38-week belly! I'm getting close to being a big sister! Mama is doing well and isn't quite ready to be done being pregnant yet. She's hoping to make it all the way to her due date so that she doesn't have to go back for very much of the school year. We'll see... My first experience with chocolate pudding...yummy! Aunt Jenni made a quilt for Cole's room just like she did for me. Cole's room is going to be in a Detroit Tigers theme...the quilt looks great in the room! Hmm...what kind of mess will I make today? Wait! I'm not ready for my close-up!

On the Go...

I don't stay too still too often for Mama to take any new pictures of me. When she tries, she usually gets half of me out of the picture...she's so slow!

Here I am enjoying a yummy Valentine's Day sucker from Aunt Susie and Uncle Danny.

I went to Amma and Papa Williams' house and played with Amma's fun kitchen set.

Daddy bought me a little golf set...here I am practicing my chipping. Mama and Daddy are busy getting ready for my baby brother to come! I'm so excited! I love the baby that is at my day care, it will be so fun to have one at home all of the time. Mama's been feeling okay pregnancy-wise except she has a sinus infection and ear infections in both ears. Needless to say she that hasn't been fun for any of us :) I'm a little stuffed up myself but I'm tough! This weekend Mama painted Cole's room...it's going to be a Detroit Tigers-themed room. I hope he likes it...Daddy will if he doesn't!
